Year 5, Wave 22 Funding Commitments Issued
Message Posted February 6, 2003
NOTE: These are waves from Year 5 -- not Year 6 (for which today is the deadline.) Those waves won't begin until around April.
Congratulations to the following 5 Pennsylvania schools that will be receiving a Year 5 (Funding Year 2002-2003), Wave 22 E-rate Funding Commitment Letter, totaling $203,912.88. Each commitment is listed below, and detailed information will be posted on the SLD web site under Funding Commitments: www.sl.universalservice.org/funding/ next week.
This wave just contains internal connections for 90% applicants. No decisions have been made yet on funding requests for 80-89% discount requests however those requests are current in the PIA review stage.
* The next step is to file the Form 486 which tells the SLD 3 things:
1) that the SLD is authorized to pay invoices (either BEAR or SPIFs)
2) that your technology plan has been approved (by a SLD-certified
approver)
3) that you were CIPA compliant as of July 1, 2002.
THIS FORM MUST BE POSTMARKED WITHIN 120 DAYS OF THE DATE ON THE FUNDING
COMMITMENT LETTER.
